Honcho Rest Campground is located on 1,000 feet of frontage on beautiful, private Bass Lake. We are in between Elk Lake and Lake Michigan, across the street from the Elk Rapids Public Golf Course. Honcho Rest has 58 shaded and partially shaded campsites; approximately 70% are rented to seasonal guests. All 58 of our sites have sewer, water, electric and cable television hook-up. On top of that our whole campground is covered by our Wi-Fi wireless internet access.
           
            We have countless great activities within minutes of the campground, if you look at our “Fun Things to Do”, “Area Attractions”, or “Seasonal Info” you will get a feel for all the fun to be had while staying at Honcho Rest Campground.

Downtown Elk Rapids is about 1.5 miles from the campground with many shops and activities hosted by the village weekly. Great dining is less than 1 mile away including semi-famous Pearls Cajun Restaurant.

We are currently adding new campsites - please refer to a description of this expansion in our website section entitled "Our Future." Our current campsites are all constructed with concrete and include spacious yards with fire rings.
